John Legacy
John Legacy, Creator of Storyworlds
The story comes before the storyteller.
What matters is not who I am, but what I hope to pass on: the legacy of those who shaped us, and the stories that can shed light on the present.

A practice of stewardship
Write, connect and bring stories into the light.
After a professional life devoted to supporting others, John Legacy chose to make writing a place of encounter.
He does not seek to perform his own texts. He imagines narrative worlds, then invites artists to give them a voice, music, a body or an image. Each work becomes a collective creation shaped by distinct sensibilities.
The pseudonym protects what is private while carrying a broader ambition: to pass these stories beyond the family circle.
A landscape of memory
Reunion Island, an inner presence.
An island is more than a setting. It is a way of remembering, speaking, resisting and passing stories on.
Raised by his maternal grandparents, John Legacy grew up among traces of his mother without always recognising them. Reunion now runs through his writing as an emotional landscape: its languages, its silences, its places and the ordinary stories that shape a collective memory.
The John Legacy method
Creating with care.
Every project follows the same compass: respect the singularity of the story, leave room for the audience and choose collaborators who add depth without betraying the source.
Listen
Receive a story in all its complexity, including its contradictions, silences and moments of light.
Connect
Bring words, music, image and movement into dialogue around a shared human intention.
Pass it on
Open a space for reflection without imposing a moral or a closed conclusion.
